WM CARE Team is absolutely delighted to share that Hannah Bawdon, one of our key volunteers, has raised a staggering amount for the team following her participation in the Birmingham – Black Country Half Marathon on Saturday 7th July.
After training hard throughout the heatwave, Hannah completed the marathon in an impressive time. Her dedication and drive throughout the challenge has led to her raising a shocking £1,043 (£1,265 with gift aid), which is double her goal amount.
Her run took her from the British Waterways Canal Dock in Wolverhampton to Brindley Place in Birmingham City Centre. Passing over the finish line was a massive achievement and we’re proud of Hannah for completing this impressive feat.
Having been volunteering for the CARE Team since 2009 as a Clinical Team Lead, Hannah is an integral part of the charity and has made a massive difference to the delivery of clinical care from the team, alongside the professional development of the volunteers.
Thank you Hannah!
