“Charlie was an inspiration to all of us at CARE. She embodied the qualities so many of us strive for—kindness, dedication, humility, and warmth. She was endlessly selfless with her time, always the first to offer help, no matter how small the task.

Charlie believed deeply in CARE’s mission of educating the future of PHEM. Whether it was the Third Thursday lectures or other educational events, she could always be counted on to help, usually with bunting in hand! When teaching, she was humble, generous with her knowledge, and never hesitated to go the extra mile to explain something with care and patience.

Perhaps most of all, Charlie will be remembered for her incredible kindness and infectious sense of humour. It’s hard to picture her without that bright, bubbly grin and the unique spark of enthusiasm that lifted everyone around her.

Only recently, Charlie took on the role of leading the Junior Membership Scheme. She brought with her a wealth of ideas, a clear vision for its future, and a passion that made us all excited to be involved. As junior members, we were endlessly inspired by her meticulous organisation, her eye for detail, and her unwavering commitment to the charity. She couldn’t have been more perfectly suited to the role Charlie you were loved dearly and will be deeply and sincerely missed. Going forward, we can all only aspire to be a bit more ‘Charlie’ to honour your legacy.”
