Grants from Trusts

The funding from grant giving trusts and organisations is a vital source of fundraising income for the West Midlands CARE Team.
The support received since the charity begun in 1990 has ensured that we can continue to run our essential life-saving service by providing the very best in patient care.

County Air Ambulance Trust HELP Appeal

We are extremely grateful to the County Air Ambulance Trust HELP Appeal for their support in keeping our Critical Care Team on the road and saving lives across the West Midlands.

In 2019 they have provided us with a significant grant which is being used to support our response vehicle running costs and update our medical equipment to ensure the team is provide the highest quality care to patients.

The Henry Surtees Foundation

The Henry Surtees Foundation have very generously provided the Team with grant funding that is being used to procure the equipment necessary to deliver blood products to injured patients at the scene of injury. 

The grant money is being used to fund specialised fridge-freezers, blood transport boxes and fluid warmers that will enable blood products to be prepared and transported to patients at the scene of injury by the team.
