Junior Membership Scheme

Junior members will receive the opportunity to undertake regular observer shifts with CARE’s clinical teams. These shifts are the chance to gain valuable exposure to PHEM, partake in on-shift training, become familiar with equipment and become accustomed to the team roles.

As part of the commitment to consistent and renewed clinical training, junior members will have the opportunity to support and partake in dedicated sessions covering topics from trauma, resuscitation, paediatrics & obstetric emergencies.

Utilising the team’s resources, junior members will have the support to undertake clinical & non-clinical research. Exploring topics relating to trauma resuscitation, medical emergencies, educational methods, logistics in healthcare & management.

A central focus of the junior membership will be the support of community education for life support & health promotion. From CPR training to knife crime reduction, engagement with local schools and outreach programmes is a key aspect for the scheme.
